The Monster in the Woods is an original story adapted into a series of illustrations for a middle grade fantasy adventure chapter book. A young girl named Marigold wakes to find her village destroyed and her people missing. After Marigold is saved by a kind monster whom she calls Mister, the two unlikely friends go on a journey to find Marigold’s missing family and solve the mystery of her home’s tragic fate. This project features one dust jacket and three double-page spreads.
