As a young child, I struggled immensely with anxiety, so much that I could not leave the house. Combining this with my fear of the vast and unpredictable ocean, Beyond My Door is a picture book that tells the story of overcoming my tribulations, learning to be okay in the outside world, and facing my anxieties.
