The Night Circus-Concept Design

For my thesis I chose to create concept work and character designs for an animated adaptation of Erin Morgenstern’s novel, The Night Circus. It is a phantasmic fairytale about a magical traveling night circus set near Victorian era London. The story follows a rivalry between two powerful magicians and the love affair of their young proteges, who are forced to compete against each other in a deadly magical competition.
